Abbot Placid attended the annual workshop for the Benedictine abbots and priors in Canada and the United States at St. Bernard Abbey, Cullman, AL, from February 21-25.

Father Christopher has been leading the final selection process for the Belmont Abbey College graduates who will be going to do volunteer service at Benedictine communities in Africa this summer through the Benedictine Volunteer Program sponsored by the monastery.

Father Elias has been assisting at Queen of the Apostles Parish in Belmont to gain pastoral experience as a deacon under the direction of our Pastor, Father Frank Cancro.

Brother Edward made a pilgrimage in February to Detroit to visit the shrine of Solanus Casey, O.F.M. Cap.

The monastery and college communities gathered on Ash Wednesday for the Conventual Mass to mark the beginning of Lent.

Abbot Placid left for Rome on March 9 to attend the meeting of the advisory board for the Benedictine College of S. Anselmo.
