Our Daily Schedule

Though many of the monks at the Abbey have different responsibilities, the core of the monk’s lifestyle is communal prayer, where the entire community puts their personal duties aside to pray together. This creates a foundation for the rest of the Abbey’s activity, and after prayer the monks can work, study, pursue personal interests and take care of other tasks associated with living in community. The monk’s prayer schedule is the same for weekdays and weekends.
